Wowzers! Is it ever hot in Halifax lately! I am loving it – except at night. Where I have to sleep with a blanket on me no matter what. And I don’t have air conditioning. And I hate fans.
My work, however, is freezing! 30 degrees Celsius outside, but I have my heater turned on all day at my desk. There is something very wrong with that. And very limiting in what I can wear. I wear sweaters everyday. And pants. So the same wardrobe for summer as for winter. That is wrong.
Tim is off helping a friend move and I am having oven fries for dinner (lunch was a giant salad). Hoping to watch some more True Blood – we are part way through episode 3 of season 3. My back up plan is to play some old school Mario on the Wii.
I currently hear bagpipes very loudly behind my apartment. Hali is great! (I mean that in a non-sarcastic way – however, if the bag pipes are still playing at 10pm make that sarcastic).
