4 Hours in Starbucks

Yesterday I was luckily enough to meet up with some lovely ladies for coffee. And I finally got to meet the lovely Katie!

I had to show off my new BlackBerry Bold, so the other girls pulled there’s out to to compare.

Mine was the biggest

I spent some quality time with Angie’s baby, so that s/he loves me best when s/he comes out (well, best besides Angie and her Hottie). And we all made the glowing mommy-to-be pose for pictures. Here she is in all her pregnant glory.

All in all, we spent 4 hours in Starbucks. And I think I still smell like coffee!

I hope everyone checks out Cat’s video on how to put on blush.

Who knew about blush highlighter?? I had no clue! I love learning about makeup from Cat – she told me all about Bare Escentuals which is the best makeup known to mankind/womankind. I never had a mother who taught me about things like makeup (in fact, I was never taught about anything, including periods, leg shaving or the “birds and the bees”) so having someone like Cat in my life is fantastic! I used to just slap it on – but now I know there is a technique! Who knew??

Today is another beautiful crisp day. It started off well for me – I was awakened by my gorgeous husband who had brought me home a Tim Horton’s tea. That’s the way I like to start my day!

Plans for the day include:

running
finishing the recap post on Florence
making carrot cake muffins
renting movies/tv shows to watch with the husband
making mussels to eat for dinner
playing tennis (maybe)
swimming (maybe)
playing World of Warcraft

Angie All the Way

Well, as most of you know, the lovely Angie All the Way was on the local news tonight! I am so excited for her and proud of her and she looked so smoking HOT. Especially considering that they gave her next to no time to get ready for the interview. Holy cow – who else looks so polished and put together normally everyday?

She gave an amazing interview and looked so professional and intelligent. Not that I am suprised because she is every bit as amazing in person as she is on tv!

I think that everyone should watch her on Live @ 5, and thanks to the video captured by the lovely Lex – you can!
